General Tips
CLASSES RECON Recon Golden rules: 1. Spot 2. Spot as many people as possible from cover at long range, take 2 or 3 shots then MOVE. Your position is compromised. 3. Flank wide around the enemy to make yourself a suitable spawn point and using your radio beacon. BUT what ever you do don't just take pot shots from the back of the map! Always have eyes on the objective and communicate to your squad. U are the eyes of the battlefield. | It is really annoying sometimes - (I understand that in this case, what you said was a joke CT), that people don't grasp the idea of international knowledge sharing. And then again. People who know that they should use google also have problems. This illustrates quite well how it feels to work in a helpdesk sometimes. --------------------- --------------------- | ||||

| Well as most might have noticed I play Recon class - silly name btw. its a sniper or marksman for the UK's. The SOFLAM is worthless, IRL you can't see the laser even when you are the target, I know this for a fact hence I used it for real. No one, I mean NO ONE, takes advantage of it when its used, Ive seen several snipers use it but noone drops anything on the designated target so only point you get as sniper is 10 for pointing it out. The 7.62.51 mm sniperrifles are sooo not funny in this game, the balistic made by the swedes (read DICE) makes it a neccesity to make corrections above target at 100 meters .... I seriously hope that no swedes work for NASA, if so, Astronauts will be major fucked up. I took a potshot at a guy at 100 meters, I didnt kill him so he turned around and wasted me with an UMP 45 .... a cal 45 goes at 30 meters MAX ! - not 100 meters .... I will aske DICE to make me a big scope for the UMP 45 so I can headshot with a .45 on 500 meters, would be grand. Same shit seen with shotguns, and no, no no, it does NOT matter what ammo you use in a shottie, at 50 meters you will most likely just piss off the guy because that IS the max range. Nevertheless I got sniped by someone at 80 meters with a shottie. ( I once wa training with some guys from a SWAT team, they could hit targets with a Benelli at 40 meters effectivly, but they were REALLY good at it). So, away with the tutorials, grab a bazooka thats all that works in this game.  | ||||

| | I tried watching the jet tutorial but thought the guy was pretty shit to be honest, some console dude and I would hardly call it jet superiority, just watching him flying around looking at the scenery, much better to teach yourself I think.
